Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actress best known for her work as a character in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as the Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea pa' que te enamores. She is also an accomplished performer and model. Montreal-born, she has lived in Texas since childhood, and always enjoyed dancing. As a kid, she had been trained in various dance forms. Her first participation in beauty contests at the age of fifteen. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous in 2008 when she appeared in Nuestra Belza Latina's 2nd season, which is a Univision beauty competition series. In 2010, she began acting in a role as a receptionist in the Telemundo episode. In 2015, she appeared in the action drama Tattooed Love, her debut film.
