Jeanie Marie Buss has been an American businesswoman for more than 20 years. Her current position is that as the president of Los Angeles Lakers, the NBA's majority owners. Buss hails originally from California was born into an very wealthy family. Jerry Buss, her father, was an entrepreneur in real estate who became owner of Lakers Sports and Entertainment. The emotional strain she felt was exacerbated as her parents divorced in the year 1972. She joined the family business in the age of 19 and became the general manager of the Los Angeles Strings tennis team. Then she founded in the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. She was the president at the Great Western Forum, before becoming the Vice president of the Lakers. Buss and her five sisters were heirs to the Lakers majority ownership following the passing of Buss' father in 2013. Every sister was given the same voice. she assumed the duties of the president for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss also co-owns Women of Wrestling, a professional promotion of wrestling with its the headquarters located at Los Angeles.
